Paper and jar Jack O'Lantern by The Creative Place
October is here and naturally, I have Halloween on my mind. I came across this cute glass jar and paper jack o’lantern tutorial at The Creative Place. It’s a great craft project for the kids and a good way to use up some of my paper and ribbon scraps! Click here for the full tutorial.

Pop Up Mural by Papernoodle
This pop up nursery mural is so adorable! I love the idea of creating an interactive room for the little one to explore and using paper makes it even better! There are 8 animals on the mural the can be opened up.

The Modern Alphabet prints from Apple Blossom Print shop are adorable! They can be custom titled, which makes for a great baby shower gift. Or just add the numbers along the side instead of a name and it’s ready to display on your wall.

Butterfly Garland Mixed by This Neck of the Woods

I just love this beautiful butterfly garland by this neck of the woods. Made of fine German papers, these butterflies are so delicate, they may flutter away at any moment! I’m tempted to buy one for my daughter’s bedroom for an instant splash of summer color.

Mirror Ball Succulent Design by Succulent LOVE
I’ll be the first to admit that I love buying fresh spring bouquets at my local famer’s market. They always cheer up any room in the house and I’m constantly integrating fresh flowers into my gift wraps. However, those fresh flowers never last more than a week, and the bouquets can really add up! Succulents are a beautiful eco and wallet friendly alternative. I recently came across floral designer Kelly Harris of Succulent Love at the Unique LA gift show and her succulent arrangements were so gorgeous! Her careful combination of textures and colors lend a rustic yet modern take on floral decor. Click here to get some ideas from the Succulent LOVE gallery.

Table Setting by Moda Botanica

Crate Installation by Moda Botanica
It is amazing what you can create with repurposed materials and a bit ofimagination! MODA botanica put together five storage crates, graffiti included, and filled the otherwise listless urban rectangles with soft and lovely florals and succulents. The mix of rusty metal with lush flowers was just perfect…and won them Best in Show at the Philadelphia Flower Show this past weekend!
