About
Jennifer Margulis is a mother of three—expecting her fourth child—and the author/editor of three books about parenting and one classroom edition of an 18th century play about white slavery. Her book, “Toddler: Real-Life Stories of Those Fickle, Irrational, Urgent, Tiny People We Love,” won an Independent Publishers Book Association Award but was banned from a school sale in Ashland, Oregon. In addition to writing about parenting, travel, and culture, she enjoys bicycling, baking whole grain bread, reading 19th and 20th century literature, and spending time with her family. She has appeared live on prime-time TV in France, performed the Cancan in America, and eaten fried crickets in Niger, West Africa. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she now lives in southern Oregon with her husband, three children, and Pineapple (who is almost done gestating).
