Win a copy of Birth Matters: The New Book by Ina May Gaskin!

America’s leading midwife explains why birth is a feminist issue. Called “the mother of authentic midwifery,” Ina May Gaskin has practiced for nearly forty years at The Farm Midwifery Center, which is noted for its low rates of intervention, morbidity and mortality. She is the only midwife for whom an obstetric maneuver has been named (Gaskin maneuver).

    i ‘like’ both pages. I sold many copies of Ina May’s books in the food co-op where i was the book purchaser. then finally read it in earnest when pregnant with my daughter. Spiritual Midwifery was a grounding force for me. thanks for the chance.
